The short version
Your analysis runs entirely in your browser. We do not have a server-side database in v1. Your job title, tasks, and skills are saved only to your device using browser localStorage so you can return to your roadmap.
What we collect
We do not collect personal information through the analyzer. We do not use analytics in v1. Standard web server logs (IP address, user agent) may be retained by our hosting provider but are not used to identify you.
Local storage
We use your browser's localStorage to save your analyzer progress under the key pivot-analyzer-v1. This data never leaves your device. You can clear it any time by clearing your browser storage or using the reset option in the analyzer.
Future versions
If we add accounts or server-side storage, we will update this policy and give you clear notice and consent before any change. The scoring module is isolated so an optional LLM API can be plugged in later; if enabled, we will tell you exactly what is sent.
Your choices
You can clear your stored data at any time from your browser settings. You can use the analyzer without saving anything by running it in a private window.
