How we score

Quick answer

How does Pivot.tips calculate the Future-Proof Score?

We classify each of your tasks as automatable, augmentable, or human-essential, weight by time spent, add a skill-match bonus up to 12 points, and scale to 0–100. The score is an estimate from task-level AI capability research, not a guarantee of employment outcomes.

1. Classify each task

Every task is labeled automatable, augmentable, or human-essential based on two scores: AI capability (0–100) and human judgment required (0–100).

2. Weight by time spent

Your week is 100%. Automatable time pulls the score down; augmentable time adds a little; human-essential time lifts it most. Per-task AI capability and human judgment refine the result.

3. Add skill-match bonus

For each skill you select, we multiply its future value by your confidence. The sum is normalized to a maximum of +12 points.

4. Generate the roadmap

Your score and top skill gaps drive a 12-week roadmap in three phases: Foundation, Applied, and Lead. Each week has concrete actions and a deliverable.

The formula

Future-Proof Score starts at a neutral 60, then shifts based on your task and skill mix.

Score = 60
      - (automatableShare / 100) × 40
      + (humanEssentialShare / 100) × 30
      + (augmentableShare / 100) × 10
      - Σ(automatableTask: aiCapability × timeWeight × 10)
      + Σ(humanTask: humanJudgment × timeWeight × 10)
      + skillMatchBonus (max 12)
      + goalModifier (up to +2)

Clamped to 0–100. Time spent is normalized so your tasks always sum to 100% of the week.

FAQ

A 0–100 score that reflects how resilient your current mix of tasks and skills is to AI automation. Higher means more of your week is spent on human-essential and augmentable work, with strong skill coverage.
